Professional: Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Jeff May is a nationally recognized educational consultant, motivational speaker, and strategist dedicated to building equitable, inclusive, and thriving learning environments. A lifelong educator, Jeff has presented trainings, seminars, and keynotes across the U.S., focusing on restorative practices, youth empowerment, and culturally responsive leadership.
Jeff serves as Chief Administrative Officer for the San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum (SAAACAM) — one of the largest African American cultural institutions in the nation — where he helps preserve and share the region’s African American heritage. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of African American Museums and as Board Chair of R.O.O.T.S. Mentoring Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to youth and family development.
An active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Jeff lives by his personal mantra: “If you want different, do different. You’re the change.”
